About

Kate was born in Limerick and studied at the Limerick School of Art under Jack Donovan. She qualified as an art teacher and she taught at all levels while painting and exhibiting. She founded the Doras Art Studio for Refugees in Limerick.

Kate has held 21 solo shows to date all over Ireland and in Copenhagen, London and in March 2007, in Koblenz. She has taken part in many group exhibitions, including the R.H.A., the Oireachtas, Claremorris, lontas Sligo , Temple Bar, and is a regular exhibitor in Limerick.
